Your selections stay in your browser

Where in the world have you been?

Click countries to mark "Been there," "Want to go next," or "Lived here." Your map saves automatically — just to your browser. Share it with friends, save screenshots for the wall, or use it to plan what's next.

How this works

Each country on the map is a clickable circle. Tap one and it cycles through four states:

Everything is stored in your browser's localStorage — the data lives on your device. Clear your browser data and the map resets. If you want a permanent record, take a screenshot or copy the share text.

Why we built this

Atlas Ranger is a friendly travel publication. We wanted a visited-countries map that's fast, simple, and easy to use without a lot of friction. This is that map. Use it however you like.

What's next

We're working on a downloadable image generator (perfect for Instagram and Pinterest), more countries, and the ability to add notes to each location. If there's a feature you want, tell us.
